Annually, the PCOA awards a scholarship to a graduating senior who demonstrates an awareness of the presence and contribution of seniors in their lives, families and communities.
This year the PCOA will be awarding a $2,500 Scholarship to a graduating senior planning to attend college based upon that senior’s completion of a 500 word essay on “How did I help older adults in my community through volunteering” and subsequent selection as the best candidate.
PCOA representatives have met with the Pelham High School Scholarship Committee, provided the necessary information and paperwork to allow submission of applications by April 18, 2025, with the $2,500 award scheduled in early June at the Pelham High School Awards Ceremony.
Applications are available for download, through the Pelham High School Scholarship Committee, or at the PCOA Offices at Hobbs Community Center.
