Becoming a Pelham Council on Aging Member is Easy!

Why join the COA? Because the COA advocates for services and supports for older adults. The larger our membership, the louder our voice will be, and the more successful we will be in bringing important services to older adults in our community. Membership also has financial advantages and provides members a discount on trips and large events, like the annual Christmas party. Members also receive a bi-monthly newsletter and calendar, which describes services and activities offered in the community.

In this world, which is focused on youth, older adults are often overlooked or devalued. We need to change that. New Hampshire has the second oldest population in the nation and there are 60% more Pelham residents aged 60 or older, than children enrolled in the school district. The increase of older adults has significant impact on the need for programs and services for older adults. Please partner with the Council on Aging by supporting our efforts to build a more age-friendly community. Together we can change society.

To become a COA member, complete the application form which can be downloaded here or obtained at the COA office located in Hobbs Community Center. The annual membership fee for Pelham residents is $15 and $20 for non-residents. Mail or deliver your membership application form and check to: Pelham NH Council on Aging, 8 Nashua Road, Pelham, NH 03076.

Your membership fee will fund activities and services sponsored by the COA. As the COA membership grows, so does our ability to provide more programs and supports for our community. Thank you, in advance, for supporting our efforts.
