Our Support

The Pelham NH Council on Aging is community oriented and provides funding and support to other organizations in our area.

Education

The Pelham Council on Aging sponsors an Annual Scholarship of $1,000- $2,500 for a deserving graduating high school senior pursuing higher education or trade.

Events

The Pelham NH Council on Aging supports events at the Hobbs Community Center; and sponsors events such as Meet the Candidates, and a free community shredding event. 

Thrift
Store

The Pelham Community Thrift Store is a non-profit thrift retailer with 100% volunteer staff. All proceeds support programs for older adults.

Our Mission is to Build an Age-friendly Community

The Pelham NH Council on Aging (COA) educates the community about issues affecting older adults, provides outreach, and assists in enriching the lives of older adults. The COA is committed to ensuring that no older adult, living in Pelham NH or the surrounding communities, is left isolated and/or lonely. To that end, the COA raises funds, solicits and trains volunteers, and provides support and services, that benefit older adults. The COA’s focus is on creating a more just, inclusive, age-friendly community and in influencing other organizations to do the same. Together we can create a community that is better for all of us along life’s journey!
