Annually, the PCOA awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate an awareness of the presence and contribution of seniors in their lives, families, and communities.
This year the PCOA will be awarding two $2,500 Scholarships to graduating seniors planning to attend college based upon those senior’s completion of a 500 word essay on “How did I help older adults in my community through volunteering” and subsequent selection as the best candidates.
PCOA representatives have met with the Pelham High School Scholarship Committee, provided the necessary information and paperwork to allow submission of applications by April 15, 2026, with the two $2,500 awards scheduled in early June at the Pelham High School Awards Ceremony.
Applications are available for download, through the Pelham High School Scholarship Committee, or at the PCOA Offices at Hobbs Community Center.
