The PCOA was pleased to have youth volunteers this summer.
Ellie Olivier-Hinkle, a student at Pinkerton Academy and resident of Pelham, shadowed Selectwoman Charlene Takesian this summer to understand what various organizations do in the town of Pelham. She attended meetings for the PCOA, Board of Selectmen, Agriculture Committee, Pelham Community Coalition, and the Pelham Community Spirit Group. Ellie hopes to pursue a degree in Political Science and Economics.
We wish Ellie much success in her future endeavors and invite her to attend any of our monthly meetings.
Grace Fehmel is a student in the Pelham school system. Grace volunteered in the Hobbs Community Thrift Store all summer.
She also taught classes on technology to our seniors. We invite her to continue volunteering whenever she has time.
